Cooked tomatoes are among the best foods you can consume to stay young-looking. Tomatoes are rich in lycopene, apowerful antioxidant.

Lycopene helps shield the skin from being damaged because of too much sun exposure. It is important to keep in mind that the body can most effectively absorb lycopene when it is cooked.

It is recommended to choose roasted tomatoes, tomato sauce, or organic ketchup, instead of the raw produce. If you don't like tomatoes that much, opt for red peppers and beets as they contain Lycopene, too.

2. Add Green Tea to Your Diet

Almost everyone already knows that green tea is rich in antioxidants. However, not many people know that consuming at least a cup of this tea twice each day for six consecutive months can treat the damage in the skin caused by the sun.

According to nutrition experts, green tea contains high Catechin concentrations. Catechin is an antioxidant famous for its anti-aging effect. It also provides protection from UV radiation and therefore helps prevent the growth of age spots.
